Yaacov rendered this trademark Kiddush cup in the form of a silver flower. His goblet is characterized by symmetry and clean forms, embellished with intricate handcrafted silver filigree and wine-red stones. This, and most all Kiddush cups, are gold-plated within, both for aesthetic and practical purposes. The gold coating protects the wine from contact with the silver, for such contact results in a metallic flavor in the wine.
